一、考試性質(zhì)、 目的與要求
《基礎英語(yǔ)》是全日制外國語(yǔ)言文學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)型碩士研究生入學(xué)考試的主要科目 之一， 旨在考查學(xué)生是否具備碩士研究生階段學(xué)習必備的英語(yǔ)交際能力和水平。
《基礎英語(yǔ)》要求考生具有扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言基礎和廣博的知識面，認知詞匯 量達到 10000- 12000 個(gè)，并能熟練運用 5000-6000 個(gè)單詞及其常用搭配?？忌?應能讀懂學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)境下的文章、文獻、社論、書(shū)評等，能對文本的思想觀(guān)點(diǎn)、語(yǔ)篇 結構、語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)、修辭手法和文體特征等有較為深入的理解，能整合作者觀(guān)點(diǎn)或 要點(diǎn)，能概述文本要旨，能結合閱讀闡釋自己觀(guān)點(diǎn)和思想，做到語(yǔ)言通順、用詞 恰當、表達得體、說(shuō)服力強。
二、考試范圍與內容概要
( 一) 詞匯應用
要求考生結合語(yǔ)境，選擇合適詞匯填空，使句子意思完整，考查語(yǔ)境詞匯識 別和應用能力，檢測語(yǔ)言基本技能、邏輯判斷和百科知識。
(二) 片語(yǔ)解析
要求考生根據所提供片語(yǔ) (如 over-the-counter drugs) 給出簡(jiǎn)潔英文解釋?zhuān)?要求理解正確，表達清晰，檢測學(xué)術(shù)英語(yǔ)表達及應用能力。
(三) 辭格識別
要求考生結合語(yǔ)境判斷修辭格，依據選項選擇正確答案，檢測修辭手段識別 及應用能力。
(四) 文獻閱讀與寫(xiě)作
要求考生結合提供的若干篇關(guān)于某主題的摘選文獻，先閱讀文獻，整合文獻 觀(guān)點(diǎn)；據此拓展寫(xiě)作，闡釋自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)或評析，檢測文本閱讀理解、分析和整合 能力，考查批判性思維能力。
(五) 時(shí)文英譯
要求考生把一篇長(cháng)度 500 字左右的時(shí)政類(lèi)文章翻譯成英語(yǔ)，文章主題涉及具 有中國特色的政治、經(jīng)濟、科技、文化等表述，檢測考生用英文得體表達“中國 故事”的能力，考查對外傳播能力。
三、考試形式與試卷結構
( 一) 試卷滿(mǎn)分值及考試時(shí)間
本試卷滿(mǎn)分為 150 分，考試時(shí)間為 180 分鐘。
(二) 答題方式
答題方式為閉卷、筆試。試卷由試題和答題紙組成；答案必須寫(xiě)在答題紙相 應的位置上。
(三) 試卷內容結構
本考試包括五個(gè)部分：詞匯應用 (20 分)、片語(yǔ)解析 (20 分)、辭格識別 (15 分)、文獻閱讀與寫(xiě)作 (50)、時(shí)文英譯 (45 分)。
