1、About XJTLU西浦簡(jiǎn)介

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is an international higher education institution, jointly founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University, China and the University of Liverpool, UK in 2006 as the result of a strong-strong cooperation. As an independent Sino-Foreign cooperative university, it captures the essence of both prestigious parent universities and is the first and only one of its kind to be approved by the Ministry of Education in China.

Ø PhD Programme博士課程

Doctoral studies are based on carrying out projects in various research areas. We offer doctoral research projects in 12 academic departments at XJTLU. These departments include:博士學(xué)習以進(jìn)行不同領(lǐng)域的課題研究為主, 目前西浦有12個(gè)系設有各大領(lǐng)域的研究課題。這些系包括：

· Duration: 3-4 years for full-time students; 4-8 years for part-time students;

· Co-supervisors: XJTLU Primary supervisor and UoL secondary supervisor;

· Research/study Visit funded by XJTLU and UoL;

· Conference Travel funded by XJTLU .

o 修業(yè)年限: 全日制學(xué)生3-4年，非全日制學(xué)生4-8年;

o 博士生實(shí)行雙導師制， 西浦導師為主，利物浦導師為輔;

o 可公費在英國利物浦大學(xué)研究學(xué)習1-3個(gè)月;

o 可公費參加國內及國際性學(xué)術(shù)會(huì )議，發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)成果。

3、Academic Requirement 學(xué)業(yè)要求

· UK: Bachelor’s degree with upper second class honours;

· China: Bachelor’s degree from the 1st or 2nd tier universities: 75% or 80% above;

· Other regions: equivalent academic qualification.

o 英國：二級甲等(平均70分)或以上，榮譽(yù)學(xué)士學(xué)位;

o 中國：本一或本二批次高校，本一批次平均75分以上，本二批次平均80分以上;

o 其他地區： 同等條件的成績(jì)證明。

4、English Language Requirements 英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言要求

· Minimum overall band 6.5 in IELTS with over 6.0 on any individual component;

· Minimum 230 on computer-based TOEFL test or minimum 88 on Internet-based TOEFL test;

· Native speakers of English and those who obtained entry qualification in English do NOT need to provide evidence of English proficiency.

o 雅思6.0-6.5 或以上，且聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)各項得分均在6.0分或以上;

o 托福機考230分以上，網(wǎng)考88分以上;

o 英語(yǔ)為母語(yǔ)的學(xué)生以及本科或碩士學(xué)位課程為全英文授課的學(xué)生，一般無(wú)須提供英語(yǔ)能力證明。

5、Scholarships 獎學(xué)金

Ø Master Scholarships 碩士獎學(xué)金

· XJTLU offers a generous scholarship of 50% of total tuition fee, based on academic merit.

· If you apply before 1st April 2014, you will automatically be considered for the graduate scholarship, and no separate application is required.

· Note: No scholarships are currently offered for the International MBA programme.

o 獎學(xué)金為學(xué)費的 50%。

o 如在2014年4月1日前提交申請，獎學(xué)金委員會(huì )將自動(dòng)審核申請者資料，對于條件符合者擇優(yōu)授予獎學(xué)金。

o 注意：國際 MBA 課程目前不設獎學(xué)金。

Ø Doctoral Scholarships 博士獎學(xué)金

· Available for full-time doctoral students at XJTLU

· Awarded on academic merit

· Cover tuition fee and a monthly stipend of RMB 3,500 for three years

o 所有全日制學(xué)生可申請西浦博士獎學(xué)金

o 是否授予獎學(xué)金取決于學(xué)生的學(xué)業(yè)成績(jì)

o 博士獎學(xué)金包括每年學(xué)費和每月人民幣3, 500元的補助

6、Tuition Fee 學(xué)費

Ø Master Fees碩士課程學(xué)費

· RMB 90,000-15,000/total for full-time students 全日制學(xué)生 ：總計人民幣9萬(wàn)到15萬(wàn)

· RMB 90,000-32,000/total for part-time students 非全日制學(xué)生： 總計人民幣9萬(wàn)到32萬(wàn)

Ø Doctoral Fees博士課程學(xué)費

· RMB 80,000/year for full-time students 全日制學(xué)生 ：人民幣8萬(wàn)/年

· RMB 60,000/year for part-time students 非全日制學(xué)生： 人民幣6萬(wàn)/年
